NAILING IT ON HER FIRST DAY 💅🏻On her first day as a member of Hartford HealthCare, Christol Long wanted to do a little something different and see if people noticed.At her previous position in Boston, she recalled how the people didn’t support each other. She hoped things would be different here.So, while painting her nails for the first day of new colleague orientation, she added the Hartford HealthCare logo to two fingers to show her enthusiasm for her new role as a medical technician in the East Region.“They really noticed!” she said, noting how people complimented her newly designed digits. “I was hoping to build some community. I love being part of a collaborative culture and I love structure. My first day here made me feel so engaged and part of something. It makes me feel like I belong.”
